Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you deliver shower faucets?
Across Canada. Orders over $600 ship free in Ontario and Quebec; smaller sets ship at the rate shown at checkout. GTA orders arrive in 3–7 business days, Quebec in 5–10.
What is the difference between pressure-balanced and thermostatic?
A pressure-balanced valve keeps the hot-to-cold mix steady when pressure changes, so the shower doesn't scald when a toilet flushes. A thermostatic valve holds a set temperature and controls flow separately, so several outlets can run at once. Both meet Canadian anti-scald code.
Is the rough-in valve included?
Yes — Kodaen and Lauretta shower systems ship as complete kits: rough-in valve, trim plate, shower head, arm, hand shower and hose. Shower components sold separately are marked as such on the product page.
Can I install a shower system myself?
The rough-in valve goes inside the wall before tile, so plan it with a plumber during the renovation. Once the valve is set, the trim plate, shower head and hand shower bolt on in under an hour.
Which finish should I choose?
Match the sink faucet and mirror frame: matte black or brushed gold with black and gold framed mirrors, brushed nickel or chrome for lighter rooms. Kodaen and Lauretta offer the same system in several finishes.
